First BFP at 37 years old - Post Myomectomy

I've been lurking on this website (and others like it) for about a year. I was looking up symptoms all the time. I got my BFP yesterday (cycle day cd30) and I'm still a little in shock.

If this bean sticks, this will be my first child. In 2012, I had an invasive myomectomy (fibroid removal surgery) at age 35. My surgeon also removed some endometriosis. After that, I began tracking my period, ovulation, and times we had sex on an app. I used My Days - not sure it's the best, but it was free and easy to use. About a year ago, my partner and I decided we'd like to have a child together and right around that time, my gyn said that my fibroids were growing back a bit. They were still small, but she said I should "get a move on," if you know what I mean. A problem was that we lived in different cities for the first 6 months of "not actively preventing" pregnancy. We moved to the same city less than 3 months ago and well, BOOM - BFP.

After my myomectomy, I noticed a few things. My cycle was way more regular (almost 28 days exactly each month), my flow was much lighter, and I got actual symptoms when I ovulated most months. Of course, the more I read and was actively TTC, the more I paid attention to my body. Every month around ovulation, I had slight cramps and a "special" wetness. Generally, my breasts (bbs) would be tender/sore and usually that lasted until I bled on either day 28 or 29. The tenderness was pretty serious - hurt to run even when wearing a sports bra.

This month, we had sex every other day from cd10-cd16. (There was even a surprise middle-of-the-night treat that I swear is the culprit.) I had my normal ovulation symptoms - dull cramps, sore/heavy bbs, and slight bloating. Nothing was different until I got to cd26 or so. The cramps changed and started to feel pinchy/pointy/slightly stabby. They would come and go. My bbs were still heavy/sore. I was expecting my period (AF) on cd28 or cd29. On cd28, I wiped and got discharge that looked like a glob of snot or elmer's school glue. It was about the size of a fat nickel. I had never seen or read about that before. (Sure enough, I googled it and found stories about it right away.)

Though usually a nightowl, I have been falling asleep hours earlier than usual since cd28. My partner works second shift and can't believe he finds me fast asleep when he gets home. (He knows the likely reason for it now.)

I didn't want the disappointment of an early negative test, so I kept telling myself to wait as long as I could. If I was pregnant, I was pregnant and no need to waste money, time, and emotion. It was hard though - so I waited until the day after the longest cycle I've had since the surgery. I used two cheapies from Walgreens yesterday - first morning urine (fmu) and then one in the evening. I also used FMU this morning with a ClearBlue Easy. All three positive. I have one left and will do it tomorrow. I plan to make an appointment on Monday. I just moved back to this area, so have never met my new doctor that didn't have an appointment for me until May. Looks like somebody will have to take me early.

Still, since the internets have me so worried at my age, I am taking one day at a time. Good luck to you all! I'm going to try to get back to NOT thinking about how much I was a giant cup of coffee right now.
